Requirements: Required to meet once a week and enter attendance into Skyward.

Meeting: Thursdays 3:20-4:00pm

Grade Level 3-5

Purpose: Presented in partnership with FTW Robotics and Rice University, HPS Drone Race is the perfect event offering elementary, middle school and high school students an opportunity to get hands-on experience in STEM education in the form of an affordable, fast-paced game. Students will develop STEM, problem-solving, and teamwork skills while learning the fundamentals of drone flight, safety, and technology through hands-on activities and challenges.

Purpose: Students will develop engineering, coding, and problem-solving skills by designing, building, and programming robots while fostering creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking through hands-on STEM challenges.

Purpose: Students will develop engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork skills by designing, building, and operating underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). Through hands-on STEM activities, students will apply real-world science and engineering concepts while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and innovation.
